Intergalactic Hydrogen is a vehicle fuel system integrator, clean fuel infrastructure developer, renewable energy installer and technology advancement enterprise focused on cleaner, safer, local fuels and infrastructure for today and tomorrow. We design, build, repair and maintain American Fuel Vehicles, also known as "Alternative" Fuel Vehicles. Our focus is to develop the hydrogen fueled future by fully embracing and supporting all cleaner fuel and energy resources today.

We work with ALL cleaner, safer, local fuels and energy resources including hydrogen, methane, biodiesel, veggie oil, ethanol, propane, electric, geothermal, wind and solar. We have access to most all CNG fuel "conversion kits" including parts and components from companies including; AEB, AGA, Auto-Gaz Centrum, Zenit Pro, Val-Tek, Emer, Impco, GFI, Technocarb, Baytech, Landi Renzo, Westport Wing, BAF, TL Tomasetto Lovato, Mogas, Red Gas pocket CNG, DeLuca, Auto Gas, Prins VSI, ValveCare, Tartarini, Quantum, Lincoln Composites, General Dynamics, Dynetek, SCI, Optimum Composites, and ECO Fuel Systems. Compressed Natural Gas is the most economical fuel you can find in most regions of the United States of America today. So, our focus right now is building the best natural gas vehicles that fleets and retail customers desire. Gasoline or diesel engines can run on natural gas for fuel, both compressed or liquid storage options are available to give you the ease of fueling, or long range you require.


All makes and models can be upgraded to run on cleaner, safer, local fuel that cost less than petroleum. Bi-Fuel, Dual-Fuel, Tri-Fuel, Multi-Fuel or Dedicated, we have EPA certified systems available for Ford, Chevrolet, GMC and Toyota. At the same time we also can install CNG fuel system upgrades on ANY manufacturer of vehicle, including: Cadillac, Honda, Chrysler, Dodge, Suzuki, Scion, Subaru, Mazda, Mercury, Lincoln, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Peugeot, Skoda, Volvo, Saab, Hummer, Jaguar, Land Rover, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mini, Fiat, Mclaren, Lotus, Lamborghini, Mack, Caterpillar, International, Navistar, Thomas busses, Sterling trucks or the automobile of your choice including boats and planes. Direct Injection for spark ignited engines:

For those that want to burn rubber instead of burning gasoline, let us develop the hydrogen or methane burning hot rod of your dreams. When natural gas is injected into the combustion chamber, after the intake valve is closed, the engine produces 25% more horsepower on natural gas than gasoline. Direct Injection of hydrogen produces 50% more horsepower than burning toxic gasoline. If reducing your lap time on the track is important, or you want the ultimate "Air Cleaning Monster Truck", then DI is for you!!!!

Diesel, or compression ignition engines:

A diesel engine can either run in a Dual-Fuel configuration, or the engine can truly be converted to spark ignition and run dedicated on natural gas. Dual-Fuel is the lower cost option, utilizing pilot point ignition to increase the burn of the baseline fuel resulting in more power, torque and MPG. Dedicated, diesel engine conversions cost the most money to add an ignition system and result in a loss of power on natural gas compared to diesel or biodiesel, but save more money per mile than Dual-Fuel.

Premium, Digital Injection System:

The best natural gas fuel system in the world comes from ECO Fuel in Canada. We are proud to offer this system for our customers that want the best. With this system, the tunability is so precise that we can increase torque and fuel economy from an engine running on natural gas compared to running on gasoline. Some engines we can even get an increase in horsepower on natural gas compared to gasoline!!!!! This system is so good, it even works with propane, hydrogen or blends of hydrogen and natural gas. If you want the best, forget the rest~

Step up to true sequential, Multi-Point Injection:

Gaseous fuel injectors offer much more precise metering of methane into the combustion chamber. There are many manufacturers from around the world that offer different Injector systems with various computers to control the operation of the engine on natural gas. There is a wide variety of cost between the different injector systems. The lowest cost Injector systems are similar in performance to the Rail systems for only a little more money than a Rail systems yet offer better emissions and more reliability. Our best value system includes Keihin injectors from Prins and a capable computer that makes customers very happy.

The next level up in Fuel System Upgrades:

Stepping up from the Venturi systems are the fuel "Rail" systems. These systems are often called "sequential" and have even been mislabeled as "Direct Injection". Some clarification is in order. A fuel Rail system consists of solenoid type fuel metering devices that are more precise than a Venturi, but not as precise as true, gaseous injectors. Therefore, a Rail system costs a little more than a Venturi, has a little better reliability and offers a little better performance. There are quite a few Rail systems available to meet your requirements.

From the lowest cost the the highest quality, this is CNG done right!!

To compete with the local NGV market, we have returned to the "ancient technology" and offer zero pressure diaphragm, Venturi style fuel delivery systems. These are the lowest cost systems and result in the most horsepower loss. These systems can still be adequate if installed properly. So, you want to choose the best technician with the most knowledge to get the best performance out of these "aspirated" or "carbureted" systems. A Venturi fuel delivery system does require the most maintenance to keep it tuned and running properly for the life of the vehicle

Maintenance and Repairs

Proper maintenance is key to keeping your NGV on the road as long as possible. Regular fuel filter changes are probably the most important thing you can do to keep your natural gas system operating properly. Fuel filtration protects valuable, down stream components such as high pressure regulators, solenoid lock of valves and fuel injectors. Most high pressure filters need to be replaced every 20,000 miles and inspected every 6,000. Low pressure fuel filter intervals fluctuate by brand from every 15,000 to 80,000 miles. If you are unsure about the condition of your natural gas fuel system filter, please schedule an inspection with us to check it out for you soon to save costly repairs later. If your regulator has died from compressor oil contamination, we can replace it and get your Driving Clean & Saving Green again.


Natural Gas Vehicles and compressed fuel storage system components must be inspected every 3 years of 30,000 miles, or after a collision above 5 mph or if a vehicle is involved in a fire. To pass your Utah state safety inspection, your NGV will need to first pass an NGV inspection. We inspect NGV's and compressed fuel storage cylinders. We want to make sure every AFV is in good, safe working order for our customers and everyone else on the road.

​We stock many rebuild kits for zero pressure diaphragms. If your Chevy Cavalier has stopped running on natural gas, bring it on in, We can repair it. and 


Natural gas requires a hotter spark and is more taxing on ignition systems. Regular tune-ups on NGV's should be scheduled more frequently than with gasoline vehicle tune-ups. If your NGV is loosing power, stalling out or running ruff, we can help.
